Abstract


The temporomandibular joint is one of the most complex Nvorking assemblies in body.
Now we are recognizing the impotance of T. M. J. and cannot be escaped from that. The present treatment of T. M. J. trouble is_not treatment according to etiology, but it is only treatment for relief of symptoms. Nevertheless the treatment of T. M. J. problem is not simple. The etiology of T. M. J. problem is so complex and variable that ¢¥reinvesitigation of T. M. J. is needed.
Because the objectives of orthodontic treatment is attainment of functional occlusion with periodontal tissue and harmony of neuromuscular system and T. M. J. , we should study and observe the T. M. J. problem.
